OVERVIEW
The rotary drum mixer uses a slow-rotating cylindrical drum to tumble materials gently. Unlike aggressive mechanical mixers, there are no internal blades or paddles exerting shear force on the product. Material is lifted by the rotation and falls under gravity, creating a gentle folding action. Internal baffles can be added to enhance mixing without introducing shear. This makes the rotary drum mixer ideal for fragile, friable materials such as tea leaves, herbs, spices, coffee beans, nuts, dried fruits, and breakfast cereals. The full stainless steel drum ensures hygiene and easy cleaning.
